ID Analyzer Tool
Why did my verification fail?
It’s frustrating. You take a photo of your ID, upload it, and wait—only to get rejected. “Image unclear,” “Glare detected,” or “Cannot read data.”
Most verifications don’t fail because the document is invalid; they fail because the image quality is poor. Automated KYC (Know Your Customer) bots are incredibly sensitive to:
- 🚫 Glare & Reflections:
Flash photography creates white spots that hide critical text or holograms. - 🚫 Motion Blur:
Even a slight hand shake makes the font edges fuzzy, confusing OCR scanners. - 🚫 Low Contrast:
Taking a photo of a white ID on a white table makes edge detection impossible.
How this Simulator helps
Think of this tool as a “Pre-Check.” We simulate the checks performed by major verification SDKs (like SumSub or Jumio) to give you a Pass/Fail probability.
Whether you are a developer testing an onboarding flow or a designer checking the print quality of a prop, this tool analyzes:
- OCR Readability: Can a computer extract the Name and DOB text?
- Face Detection: Is the portrait photo clear enough for biometric matching?
- Edge Integrity: Are all four corners of the document visible?
🛠 Designed a Template? Test it here.
If you are using our High-Res Passport PSDs or Driver License Templates, export your design as a JPG and drop it in this simulator.
Ensure your design is “Scanner Ready” before you print or use it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this connected to government databases?
No. This is a visual analysis tool. We check the image quality (pixels, lighting, blur), not the legal validity of the data issued by a government.
Is it safe to upload my ID?
Yes. The processing happens Client-Side (in your browser). Your image is not sent to our servers or stored anywhere. Refresh the page, and it’s gone forever.
Why does my real ID fail?
Usually lighting. Try placing your ID on a dark, matte surface (like a mousepad) and ensure natural light falls on it without creating a white glare spot.
